Description

Ulcergard (omeprazole): This medication is a gastric pump inhibitor which acts to reduce acid production in the stomach. It is used for the prevention of gastric ulcers. Ulcergard differs from Gastrogard only in that is labeled at a lower dose and is used for prevention rather than treatment of gastric ulcers. It is available as an oral paste.
