Gabby is an active equestrian who began riding when she was 11. She bought her first horse, Jesse, a double registered AQHA/PHBA when she was 13, who she still rides today! Gabby rides English and Western, has competed in all around events, and has also done show jumping and barrel racing. She has worked in many aspects of the equine world, including rehabilitating OTTBs, giving lessons, and working in therapeutic riding.
Originally from Glenfield NY, Gabby was lucky to grow up near the Otter Creek Horse trails, where she could often be found trail riding! She graduated in 2017 from SUNY Canton with her degree as a licensed veterinary technician. She joined the FLEP team in 2018 and now resides in Cortland with her dog Gracie and cat Darla.
Jlynn Meyer, LVT

Jlynn is originally from the Finger Lakes region of NY. He graduated from Alfred State College in 2012 then moved to Florida to work in Ocala at an equine hospital for 3 years. In 2015 he moved back to NY where he started working at Cornell University full time in their large animal department then joined the FLEP team in 2016 as a part time technician. He plays an active role in the American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians, holding such positions as Regional Director, Regional Contact and Vice President. He has been riding his whole life and spent much of his younger years at rodeos. He is still an active horse person, owning 3 quarter horses and riding in his free time.
